Boards and Commissions

It was somewhat surprising that we found a fairly large number of communities where we didn’t find a Boards and Commissions page or link. Further research could determine whether in fact these communities don’t have many active boards, or whether they’re recruiting through traditional channels and networks to fill these roles rather than soliciting applications from the general public.  If communities have the process, likely because it’s a fairly simple application, they are roughly evenly split between full online applications and PDFs.

The Northeast and Upper Midwest appear to be regions less likely to have Boards and Commissions applications generally.
